Ross Bicycles

The company was founded in 1940 by Albert Ross as Ross Galvanizing Works, located in Brooklyn, NY.  It started making bicycle in 1946 and by the 1950s it was the third largest producer of bicyles after Schwinn and Huffy.  In the 1970s it moved to Allentown, PA and produced over 1 million bicycles per year.</description>
